Live On + The Kempema Family
Giving Tuesday, is a global generosity movement that takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. One of my clients, the Kempema Family, is doing just that through the non-profit community they’ve established—LiveOn.org. The Kempemas are kind and generous; I loved spending a little time getting to know them during their session. I’m excited to help spread the word about their non-profit endeavor!
After their oldest son Jakob developed an autoimmune disease, they founded LiveOn.org which supports the millions of people who suffer from chronic illness and associated emotional wellness issues. These diseases include ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis), Lyme Disease, Long-COVID, POTS MCAS, among others. All these diseases offer the same quality of life: chronic pain, organ failure, profound fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, and other symptoms made worse by exertion of any sort—physical, emotional, or mental. Those afflicted constantly feel too tired, weak, and in pain to perform day-to-day functions or engage in your favorite physical activities. Many call it “Living Death.”
The mission of LiveOn.org is to provide a place where chronic disease sufferers, caregivers, and healthcare professionals can connect and support each other through encouragement, education and solutions of hope. Go to LiveOn.org/donate to find out more and to donate.
