Jody Young + Photos for Jamie I’m so excited to finally share this session with you all! Jody’s story is incredible, so buckle up! This story I’m sharing was written by Jody’s daughter Kaitlin, who nominated her for the session. “My grandparents had longed for a second child for years. They often recalled the day when a nurse phoned from the hospital announcing “we have a baby for you” with joy and excitement in their voices. They picked her up that day with very little information about who her birth parents were, but with lots of love to pour on their new daughter. Sia + Photos for Jamie Session
Sia was nominated for one of my Photos for Jamie sessions last year. She has been through a lot, making it difficult to schedule this session until now. I really wanted to make this session happen for her, so I recently reached out again. This was her response to my email: “Yes please! Oh my goodness, you’ve answered a prayer. Thank you. I’ve been thinking about you because I’m terminal now, and boy. Nothing makes you stop and say we need pictures like, ‘you’ve got months to live.’ But I didn’t want to ask because of COVID. So thank you for reaching out. And thank you for this incredible work… Keep Reading
Dana + Photos for Jamie
I’m so excited to share this session with you all! It has been in the works since October of last year when Dana was nominated for one of my Photos for Jamie sessions for breast cancer survivors. These sessions are inspired by my mother, who we lost to this horrible disease four years ago. Dana received the most nominations and it’s no surprise why! I can’t believe how strong and positive she has remained after all she has gone through; she is so deserving! She has wonderful family and friends that have supported and loved her all along the way. You can tell her family is her pride and joy!… Keep Reading
The Hurst Family + Cleveland Utah
I’m not even sure where to begin with this family. I have known Frank and Tara since I was young. Frank was my bishop during my teenage years and Tara was the most fun at girls camp! I adore them both! They have the most beautiful family and I really look up to them as they are raising their four kind, hard working and beautiful daughters. Their oldest Erin (in the black dress), is 21. She is an amazing long distance runner at Dixie. I have loved watching her running journey since she was competing in high school. She continues to amaze me! Earlier this year she noticed a lump… Keep Reading
