Ava and Tess have always shared a room. Our house only has two bedroom upstairs, so when we were expecting our third baby, we knew the girls would need to move downstairs. We live in an old house and whoever finished the basement in the past, didn’t do the best job. The bedroom we needed to move them into didn’t have a closet or any outlets! Rasmussen Family + Lifestyle Newborn Session
I absolutely love lifestyle newborn sessions! Adding a new member to the family is such a special time that needs to be documented. The Rasmussen family added sweet Olivia to their family just over two weeks ago. She was so perfect and fought to stay awake during most of the session. Reagan will be such a fun big sister. I love including the entire family in a newborn session, especially when I get to photograph them in their own home! Adding a baby to family creates an entirely new dynamic and capturing that is so special. Mother’s Day
Had a quiet day at home with my family and I think it was just what we needed. Mother’s Day is kind of a bummer for me because I just wish I could celebrate it with my mom and spoil her. Anderson Family + Orchard Session
I was so excited for this session because the last time I photographed this family was a dream! (You can see that session here.) Their sweet girls are looking so much older now! Henson + Lifestyle Newborn
Sweet little Henson didn’t even open his eyes to meet me, but he’s so dang cute I’ll forgive him. I love this family and I’m so grateful they keep having me back! It’s so fun to watch their little family grow. Henson’s older brother Gav is always trying to steal the show! Wherever I went he would find me and say “cheese!” He is already so sweet with his baby brother. He just kept cuddling him saying “cute”. It was the sweetest thing! Favorite Session
The session I used to be the most terrified of is now my favorite! In the past, I wished all families that booked me only had one little baby that still slept all day and couldn’t run away from me yet haha. Or maybe even a senior girl that was a total natural in front of the camera and listened to everything I said. I would get so nervous before a family session with several young kids or heaven forbid, toddlers! How will I win them over? Will they listen to me? What if they cry the whole time?
