William + Lifestyle Newborn Session Sweet little William joined his family two weeks ago. We scheduled his session for one week after he was born. I personally like shooting newborn sessions as soon as possible. They change and grow so quickly, so I love capturing that fresh newborn look. It’s also helpful that they are still really sleepy and cuddly! I treat in-home newborn sessions like a family session with an emphasis on the new baby. Welcoming a new baby is a big deal for the whole family, so I like to include everyone!
Family Portraits
Sink Bath + Personal Post
Sink Bath + Personal Post I don’t know what it is about sink baths, but they make me so nostalgic. It’s the photos like these, the everyday that I will cherish the most. I love this Bubby.
Winter Wonderland | Mother-Daughter Session
Winter Wonderland Mother-Daughter Session I already shared the first half of this snowy mother-daughter session and you can see that here. Lexie found Brylee’s blush dress at a garage sale! Can you believe it? This was such a fun location to showcase it and I love how the photos turned out! Thanks for being up for anything Lexie and Brylee! I had so much fun with the two of you!
Snowy Mother-Daughter Session | Jordan Pines
Snowy Mother-Daughter Session Jordan Pines I don’t get much interest in snowy sessions, but I LOVE them! The snowy pines are just so beautiful! I try hard to keep these sessions short and I bring hand warmers to take the edge off. I’d love to fit in some more snowy sessions before spring, so if you are interested, let’s chat!
Utah Fall Photographer + Grant Family
Utah Fall Photographer + Grant Family This ended up being kind of a last minute session, but I’m so glad we could make it happen! This family was so fun and I love how their session turned out. Family sessions with grown children always feel like a vacation for me. I’m so used to pulling out all the tricks for young kids, that adult photographing adult children doesn’t feel like work at all haha! Thanks Grant Family!
Wheeler Farm + Carpenter Family
Wheeler Farm + Carpenter Family I’m finally catching up on blogging some fall sessions. This is my cousin Skylar and his cute family! We grew up together and are close in age, so it’s so fun to see his family grow and watch our kids play with each other. I can’t believe we are adults with kids of our own now. So crazy!!! Thanks for having me Carpenters! Love ya!
Emery County Photographer + Hurst Family
Emery County Photographer + Hurst Family The last time I photographed the Hurst family, it felt very different. Their oldest daughter Erin had recently been diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer. It was scary and uncertain and my heart was breaking for them. I’m so happy to say Erin is cancer free and doing incredible! I mean, her smile says it all! I’m so incredibly happy for them! I love this family dearly. You can see that first session I did for them here. They have also added a son-in-law since then. Thanks for having me Hurst Family! It was so good to see you all again.
The Garden + Personal Post
The Garden + Personal Post It doesn’t get much better than spending time in our yard, just us. We especially love checking on the garden together. The kids love stealing all the tomatoes! It had been a while since I’d gotten my camera out with no plan and I loved it.
Shop Plain Jane + Personal Post
Shop Plain Jane + Personal Post These Shop Plain Jane jammies are the softest things and I couldn’t resist getting all matching ones. The day they came we just had a little photoshoot and snuggled. Man I love these little cuties!
Salt Lake City, Utah Photographer + Cornell Family
Salt Lake City, Utah Photographer + Cornell Family I loved photographing this gorgeous family! Kristin is my cousin’s wife’s sister. It had been a while since I had seen them in person, so it was nice to catch up with all of them! The oldest, Lauren, will be leaving on a mission for the LDS church early next year. She’s heading to Portugal and I’m so excited for her! I’m glad we were able to take update their family photos before she leaves. Thanks for having me Cornell Family!
