I got a little behind on editing my personal work. I finally caught up and thought I would share some of my favorites from this fall. Man, this family of mine is cute!

Behling Family + Desert Family Session
I’m lucky enough to call these guys family! Katie is such a sweetheart and I’m so glad my cousin Brooks brought her into the family. When she told me she wanted to do their session on the desert, I was so excited! She wanted something a little different, and I love that. It turned out to be a favorite, even if we did get pretty dirty doing it! Their two boys had a blast rolling in the dirt together. When the boys were done, I stole Katie for a few shots of just her. I love doing that for moms. She is gorgeous!
Anderson Family + Green Canyon
We had to reschedule this family session due to bad weather. Jordan told me they were cursed and that it’s a running joke that it happens every time they try to do family pictures. We finally broke the curse, because it was the most beautiful fall day! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect! The Anderson family is the sweetest. I met them through my brother-in-law and they are just really great people. Jayson is so lucky to be surrounded by such beautiful girls. They were all wonderful, but their littlest Blake, was just the happiest little thing through the whole session. She won my heart for sure! I had so many favorites from this one, so I just threw them all in!
Bryner Family + Tunnel Springs Park
The Bryner family was so easy going during their family session and it shows! They made family photos with 4 kids look like a breeze! Rickie and her husband Mike are so cute together! I love getting a few shots of just mom and dad at family sessions. After all, it’s their love for each other that started it all. They just radiated love and happiness! The Bryners live in my brother and sister-in-law’s neighborhood and recently moved back to Utah from Arizona. I had so much fun meeting them and getting to know their kiddos. Such great people, I’m glad they decided to move their beautiful family here!
Bennett Family + Temple Quarry Trail
The Bennett Family is from little Emery County, Utah, just like me. They drove all the way up to Salt Lake City for their session and I’m so glad they did! I hadn’t seen them for a while, so it was nice to talk with them and catch up. They were so fun to hang out with, I might see if they will adopt me. Plus they are all just gorgeous! I had a great time at this mini family session. The fall colors were perfect!
Johnson Family (Part 2) + Rooftop Family Session
Are you ready to see this gorgeous family at their second location? As I was editing this one I was thinking, “This might be my favorite session”, but then I realized I catch myself saying that after every new family session, haha. It was so hard to choose favorites for this post, so I might share some more in the future. I love how these turned out and the location was perfect. It was a little chilly, but I think you will all agree it was worth it!

Johnson Family + Memory Grove Park
I am in love with this family session! Jarom is my brother-in-law and his family is seriously so easy going, they acted like they take family photos every day! Serious naturals in front of the camera. They made my job so easy! Nicci has supported my love for photography from the beginning. I have taken their family photos since 2012, and let me tell you I wasn’t very good back then. I appreciate them sticking with me and always cheering me on. We started their session at Memory Grove Park in SLC to catch the gorgeous fall colors, and then we moved to a second location downtown that I’ll be sharing in another post soon!
Bodily Family + Tunnel Springs Park
I used to work with Shelley at an architecture firm before I had Ava. We were pregnant at the same time. I hadn’t seen her for a while, so it was so nice to catch up with her and her husband and see how much their kids have grown. It felt more like we were just hanging out and chatting about our lives. Terrell has a great sense of humor and he is such a lucky guy to be married to gorgeous Shelley. Isn’t she so pretty? These sisters are so cute together and they did so good during their session. Such a wonderful family!
Johnson Family + Antelope Island
Tara and I high jumped together at Utah State University. She was better (and taller) than I am. I would argue that the high jumping group had the most fun! So many great memories and great friends like Tara. I have hung out with her and her kids before, but I was thankful to have another excuse to see them. I was so excited that they chose Antelope Island as the location for their family shoot. I had never shot there before and I had been dying to go. I love the simplicity and the gorgeous tones! I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites of this session, they are just a gorgeous family. And how cute are Keaton and Oaklyn together?!
Streeter Family + Tunnel Springs Park
I’m so in love with this family! Elena booked this session so she could send pictures to her husband who is currently deployed. I have so much respect for military families. I don’t know how they do it! This mamma is so strong and beautiful. During the session I was admiring how she interacts with her children and I’m convinced they are the most well behaved children ever! She’s doing so many things right. If we have another girl in the future, I just might have to name her Emma, because I absolutely fell in love with this Emma. I know all 3-year-olds are energetic, but I have never witnessed one run as much as she did. I’m convinced she got a few miles in! Aleks was such a good sport and so gentle with his sisters. And beautiful little Laura… those eyes! She was a little shy and not so sure about me when I got close, but she was so sweet! I hope you all enjoy this gorgeous family session as much as I did.
