Ian has been playing baseball since he was tiny and now he has received a baseball scholarship! It only seemed fitting to include it in his senior session. I love how it turned out and it was so fun to shoot on the field. After the photos on the baseball field, Ian made a quick outfit change and we got a totally different look at the park nearby! The second location of Bethany’s senior session was at a Laundromat and I love how fun and unique it is! If you missed it, check out the first greenhouse location. The causal vibe of the Laundromat fit Bethany’s style so well! I love how different it feels from the greenhouse photos. She got such great variety from two quick photo shoots. Thanks so much for having me Bethany! I had such a great time!

Sam seriously made my job SO easy! He’s a natural in front of the camera. We shot on street level first before we headed up to the roof. I love urban locations like this for senior guys, I feel like it fit him perfectly! It’s a great location year round. cHe plays football and basketball, so it was fun to include the basketball hoop for a couple shots. It felt natural and not like a cheesy prop. Thanks for having me Sam! Good luck with all your post-grad plans!

Jake is my cousin and his fiancé Katie is just the best! They are so great together! They are getting married next June and I’m so excited for them! They live in Las Vegas, but came up to St. George for their engagements while we were there for spring break. I’m so glad it worked out, because it was so good to see them. I loved doing their engagement photos for them. I always take way too many photos when I photograph my own family haha. We started out in Historic Downtown St. George at the cutest carousel, walked a few streets and then headed to Ivin’s, UT to the prettiest golden field (I’m going to post those in a separate blog). I can’t wait for you to see them all!

Regan just glows! She’s one of those people that are so beautiful on the inside that it just can’t be contained. I had a great time photographing this gorgeous girl. I was driving to my home town for Easter, and there were fields of purple flowers everywhere! I just knew I had to do a shoot in them. I asked Regan about 30 minutes in advance and she pulled it off like a dream! I’m so thankful to her because this was so fun for me! She brought a second dress that I can’t wait to show you in a future blog post.
My husband and I are friends with Kelsey and her husband Ryan. I was honored when Kelsey asked if I would take family photos of her side of the family, the Brian’s. I had met most of her family before, but it was so nice to meet the rest of her siblings. They are all just as kind and sweet and Kelsey, and they know how to have fun together! It really should be illegal for one family to get all the good looks though; aren’t they all gorgeous? We fit this session in right before all the pretty leaves fell. Some of them had to make quite the drive to meet up for these photos. I’m so glad they all took the time to make it happen, because I love how they turned out! Thanks Brian/Forsyth/Richardson family! I had a great time with you all!
It’s funny to me that meeting new people is one of my favorite parts of photography, because I’m actually an introvert and naturally pretty shy. I’m grateful that it pushes me out of my comfort zone and I get to meet wonderful people like the Behunins. Their kids are so cute! I love seeing their little personalities come out in front of my camera. They recently moved back to Utah and I’m lucky they chose me to take some new family photos for them. They came to my fall mini sessions and the weather was perfect with the most gorgeous fall colors! Welcome back to Utah Behunin Family!
I’m lucky enough to call these guys family! Katie is such a sweetheart and I’m so glad my cousin Brooks brought her into the family. When she told me she wanted to do their session on the desert, I was so excited! She wanted something a little different, and I love that. It turned out to be a favorite, even if we did get pretty dirty doing it! Their two boys had a blast rolling in the dirt together. When the boys were done, I stole Katie for a few shots of just her. I love doing that for moms. She is gorgeous!
This was the fastest year of my life! I finally got around to editing the pictures from her cake smash. She wasn’t into it, at all. She hardly tasted the cake and just kept trying to run away haha. She smashed her chocolate chip pancakes all over herself at breakfast that morning, so I had hopes that she would really be into her cake. I have a feeling my Tess baby will always be keeping me on my toes. She is a determined little thing and I love her feisty little soul.
