Teara is a talented newborn photographer and owns Silver Clover Photography, so if you love the adorable, squishy little newborn poses, she’s your girl. Due to this crazy spring weather, we had to reschedule their session, but we got a beautiful day! I couldn’t get over how adorable these sisters were together. They were so sweet and cuddly with each other and the shots of them together turned out so cute. Thanks for making the long walk out to the water with me Watson family, I think we can all agree it was worth it!

I loved photographing this gorgeous family! Kristin is my cousin’s wife’s sister. It had been a while since I had seen them in person, so it was nice to catch up with all of them! The oldest, Lauren, will be leaving on a mission for the LDS church early next year. She’s heading to Portugal and I’m so excited for her! Carly and her kids modeled for me at a past commercial shoot, so it was fun to see them again and to photograph the entire family. These parents are raising some amazing little people! Valerie is a talented interior designer and we used to work together at an architecture firm before we both had kids. We were actually pregnant with our first babies at the same time! I hadn’t seen her since then, so I loved meeting her beautiful kids! Their family is the sweetest! Little Norah started falling asleep on their drive, so it took her a while to warm up, but once she did we had so much fun! Val is such a beautiful mother and I loved watching her and Jess interact with their kids. They obviously adore them! Thanks for having me Maxfield’s! It was so fun to see you again!

Saltair is THE location this fall! I have lots more sessions here soon and I can’t wait to share them all with you! If you live in the Salt Lake Valley, it’s a quick and easy location to get to as well! We are so lucky in Utah to have such a wide variety of beautiful locations.

The last time I photographed the Wilson family, their little Axton was just a toddler. It was so fun to see them again! Their kids have gotten SO big and I got to meet their newest addition, little Boon. Isn’t he the cutest?! I’m all for these cute little puppies my clients have been bringing lately. This session was a dream! I photographed their younger son’s modern school portraits earlier this year, so it was fun to meet the rest of the family. Aren’t they gorgeous!? Their adorable little puppy pushed it over the top for me, she’s just the sweetest! It was a beautiful night at Saltair. Cloudy Saltair Family Session | Preece Family

Lauren and I high jumped together at Utah State back in our prime. We traveled all over together and had so many good times! We haven’t gotten together for a while, so it was so fun to see her and her beautiful family again! Saltair is definitely one of my favorite locations. It was so sunny all day and then turned overcast right before the session, which added some pretty blue/gray skies. It ended up being a little chilly and Lauren adjusted everyone’s outfits last minute and just rolled with it. The kids did so great and I think they turned out so beautiful!

Johnson Family + Saltair

I think this is my fourth year photographing my brother and sister-in-laws beautiful family. I love it every time, but this year’s session is my favorite so far! It was a fun one and I’m so happy we captured this special time in their lives. They have struggled for the past three years to add another baby to their family, and they recently found out Shawn is expecting and their dreams are coming true! They have decided to be surprised and not find out the gender and I’m just so excited for them! So here are their last family pictures as a family of 5.

Walker Family + Saltair

I absolutely loved this family session! We had so much fun together! Val and I were in the Interior Design program at Utah State University together. We spent a lot of late nights working on projects. We both ended up completing our internships in NYC and lived together for the summer with 5 other girls in a tiny apartment. That summer was filled with so many fun memories, late nights and good food (I would kill for a Shake Shack concrete with truffle cookie dough right now)! So much has changed since then and I loved being able to catch up with her and meet her cute little family. Their little Gavin is just the cutest little thing! The camera loved him and he did so great even though we kept him up past his bedtime. It was fun to watch this sweet family just play together! The way they love each other really shined through.
